Assessment Manager
SIMPLE ASSESSMENT SCHEDULING
Scheduling assessments for your learners using our Assessment Manager is a simple process that unfolds on the screen as you progress through making your choices and setting various options. For our Essential and Advanced Skills modules you can choose:
- To target specific cohorts, groups within cohorts or individual learners
- Diagnostic or authentic assessment modes
- Assessment date and start time
- Assessment duration and availability
- Single or repeated events over set periods of days,weeks, or monthly on a set date
- Pre-defined assessment formats
- Administrator defined bespoke assessment formats using our unique and powerful Focused Assessment Builder (FAB)

Report Centre
POWERFUL REPORTING & EXPORT TOOLS FOR REVIEWING ASSESSMENT RESULTS & LEARNER ENGAGEMENT
Our powerful Report Centre provides instant access to a range of detailed reports to help you review assessment results and monitor how your learners are engaging with safeMedicate. We've launched the Report Centre with 3 report categories and 8 report formats:
ASSESSMENT REPORTS
- Assessment Feedback - detailed feedback on any scheduled assessment
- Compare Assessment Results - compare results between 2 or more assessments or assessments over a specified time
INDIVIDUAL USER REPORTS
- Login History - show all usage or logins within a date range for any learner including module usage
- User Profile - view and export an entire user record showing module progress and practice or scheduled assessments taken
GROUP REPORTS
- Assessment History - a complete assessment history as a summary report for a group of users
- Login History - show all usage or logins over a specified time period for a group or groups of learners
- Module Engagement History - a summary report showing all module engagement or engagement within a date range for a group of users
- Usage Statistics - a high-level summary of usage over various time frames for all users or groups of users
Assessment Feedback
COHORT & GROUP LEVEL REPORTING
On completion of safeMedicate scheduled assessments, all results are immediately available for you to review via the Assessment Feedback report.
- Review cohort/group performance as bar charts and lists of individual users
- Interactive charts that allow you to drill down to results for individual users
- Print charts in various image formats or as PDF documents
- Show results as total scores or as percentages
- View assessment completion times for each user
- Identify any learners who did not take the assessment
- Choose when to release results to learners (summative assessments)
- Export results as an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis or for import into your VLE
Assessment Feedback
DETAILED QUESTION-LEVEL RESULTS AND FEEDBACK
- Drill down to view detailed question-level results and feedback for individual users
- Rich visual feedback displays the problem elements (medication order and medication container label), the correct answer and the learner's answer
- For diagnostic assessments, see how a learner has set up the equation (conceptual competence), their calculated numerical answer (calculation competence) and how the calculated answer has been represented on the chosen measurement vehicle - in this example a syringe (technical measurement competence)
- Immediately identify which elements of the answer are correct or incorrect aided by direct comparison with the expert solution
- If a calculator has been used, see the recorded keystrokes
- When results are released, the same level of detailed feedback is available to the learner
Engagment Monitoring
TOOLS AND FEATURES TO MONITOR LEARNER ENGAGEMENT AND PROGRESS
safeMedicate makes it easy for you to monitor the degree to which learners are engaging with the program and the progress they are making.
- Institution-wide Usage Statistics widget that provides a snapshot of system activity and engagement for 6 metrics over a range of pre-set time periods (e.g. usage within last 3 months)
- Search for and identify users who have not registered their accounts
- Search for and list users who have not engaged within pre-defined time periods (e.g. no engagement in last month)
- Export lists of non-engaging users as an Excel spreadsheet
- Search for and access the Personal Record of individual users
- View the usage history which shows the dates when the module was first and last used, the total time in hours, minutes and seconds that the user has spent studying the module and the total number of times the module has been accessed
- View the progress data for each section of the module as bar charts showing the % complete for each
- View a list all the self-administered (practice) and scheduled assessments taken by the user in each module
- Drill down to the detailed assessment results and feedback
